Message from your Executive Director

Dear Members, Volunteers, and Friends of The
Centre,
As we move into the bright and vibrant months
of May and June, we are excited to reflect on the
wonderful experiences of spring as we anticipate
the opportunities these next few months will bring.
At The Senior Centre, we are dedicated to fostering
an environment where everyone feels connected,
valued, and engaged, and we are grateful for the
energy and enthusiasm each of you brings to our
community.
Thank you so much for your continued support of
our kitchen. We truly appreciate your generosity and
commitment to our efforts.
Lunch will be served on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and
Thursdays, offering grab-and-go options after lunch.
Additionally, grab-and-go items will be offered on
Mondays and Fridays. As we navigate the rising cost
of food, you may notice a slight increase in the prices
of some menu items. Please be aware that hot meals
will be priced accordingly to reflect these changes.
However, despite these changes, we assure you that
we are committed to providing great value.
April 25 to May 3 is National Volunteers Week, and
this year’s theme was “Volunteers Make Waves” –
Together, we create ripples of change. We are truly
fortunate to have the best volunteers who make
a profound difference in the lives of all our senior
center members. Your dedication, compassion,
and hard work brighten their days and enrich their
experiences in ways words cannot fully capture.
Thank you for everything you do!
I hope you take some time to enjoy the beautiful
weather, and we look forward to seeing your smiling
faces around The Centre. If you’re considering joining
our Centre or are new to our community, we want to
extend a warm welcome!

Angela Ostojic – Executive Director
