Message from your Centre Manager

Spring is just around the corner , and what a great year it has been so far! We have so many new faces at the Centre, and such positive energy everytime you walk through the front doors. Thank you to everyone at the Centre for accomodating growing numbers, whether welcoming new members, adjsuting rooms/furniture, or moving class times. As we continue to grow, we plan to offer more programs in the evenings and fill in empty spaces throughout the day.

March is nutrition month, and we are delighted to have Elizabeth Aillies, a RD Registered Dietitan who will share and explore nutrition topics at The Centre, including: eating with various conditions; hypertension, heart health, adding veggies to your meals and how to cook for one. Keep an eye out for an “Evening with Friends” cooking class led by Jenny. Rick Hodges our Art Instructor has started a new class on Wednesdays at 1:30pm, and the YWCA will be running community tech classes at the Centre.

The Centre is a perfect place to stay active, socialize , meet new friends and feel like an active part of the community, We welcome you to become a part of our Centre. Please stop by for lunch or a tour. Not ready to join? We have drop in programs for you to enjoy!
